Q: Can we add more people to our cruise?
A: Yes if the boat is not full! If you would like to use the same credit card, just email us at info@tikihutboatsofnh.com with your cruise name, and date/time along with how many people you would like to add. If you are using a different card, please call 603.960.4991.
Q: Will we be the only people on the boat?
A: We have 3 boats. On Tiki Time holds up to ten, Tikila Sunrise holds up to 16, and the Big Kahuna holds up to 27.
Q: Can we go swimming?
A: Yes you can. Please ask the captain while boarding so he can plan the trip accordingly.
Q: Can we go with just 2 people?
A: Yes, but there will most likely be other people on board.
Q: Is it BYOB?
A: Yes BYOB, you can also bring snacks and you can connect your music to our stereo, via bluetooth. You are the DJ. For a charcuterie board, candy board, or mix of both, give 603 Sweets, Meats and more a call at 603.998.5172
Q: Where do we board the boat?
A: On the Winnipesaukee Pier. Walk down the stairs, check in at the Tiki Booth, and you will be directed from there.
Q: Can we buy beer and wine there?
A: Yes, you can make your purchases of beer, wine and snacks at the General Store on the pier.
Q: Can we bring our dog?
A: Yes, if you are the only people on the boat.
Q: Where do I park?
A: You can park on the strip (Lakeside Ave) or in the Tiki Parking lot at 21 Weeks Street, which is limited to the length of your cruise. You must park in a designated Tiki Boat spot. If you park in any other spot you will be towed at your expense. You can also park behind 603 Sweets, Meats and More in the Tiki Plaza, 604 Endicott Street North, and carpool to the pier or the Tiki parking lot.
Q: Is there a bathroom?
A: Not on the two tiki boats. The Big Kahuna has a bathroom, and there is a porto potty at the tiki booth, where you check in, for our customers.
Q. WHAT DAYS DO YOU OPERATE?
A. We are open for booking online 7 days a week Mid May through Labor Day. From Labor Day through Columbus Day we offer a shortened schedule. If you wish to book a tour on a day outside of our general schedule, please call 603.960.4991.
Q. HOW CAN I CHECK AVAILABILITY?
A. Please click on, “Book Now” at the top of the page to check available dates and times.
Q. HOW FAST DOES THE TIKI BOAT GO?
A. It’s a slow ride and has a cruising speed at around 4 to 6 mph.
Q. DOES THE BOAT MAKE ANY STOPS?
A. During a Public Tour, it does not stop. However Private Charter Routes can be discussed by calling 603.960.4991
Q. HOW MANY RIDERS CAN WE BRING?
A. Tiki Time: Max capacity currently is 10 people or 2000 pounds, whichever is less.
Tikila Sunrise: 16

Q. ARE CHILDREN ALLOWED?
A. Children of all ages are welcome on most cruises with the exception of our Reggae Cruise. Minimum age for Reggae Night is 16 years of age. Children under the age of 12 are required to wear a life jacket which we have onboard, or you can bring your own. Please let us know if you plan to bring more than one child so we can make the appropriate accommodations for life jackets.
Q. CAN I PAY ON THE DAY OF THE TOUR?
A. Yes, but we do not hold a seat without full payment.
Q. WHAT ARE YOUR CANCELLATION AND INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICIES?
A. Bookings are non-refundable 48 hours after the day and time of processing. If you book a tour departing within 48 hours, there are no refunds. When we issue you a refund, it will be in the amount of the tour. The booking fee is non refundable. (this is charged by our reservation company, not by us). We reserve the right to cancel any tour at anytime due to weather, safety, mechanical or behavioral issues. If your tour is cancelled, you will be given a rain check to re-book at another time (this excludes behavioral cancellations), or you can choose to be refunded.
Q. DO YOUR BOATS OPERATE IN THE RAIN?
A. We do operate in the rain as the tiki boats are covered. However, the captain can decide at anytime to cancel due to conditions.
Q. WHERE DOES THE TOUR START/END & WHEN SHOULD MY GROUP ARRIVE?
A. The tour will start and end at the Pier at Winnipesaukee, in Weirs Beach. PLEASE ARRIVE 30 MINUTES PRIOR TO YOUR CRUISE SO YOU HAVE AMPLE TIME TO PARK, PICK UP YOUR BEVERAGES AND SNACKS, THEN GET TO THE BOAT. If you are late, you lose time on your cruise, it will NOT be made up on the other end. To be fair to all customers, the captains must adhere to the schedule
Q. CAN I BE PICKED UP AT MY HOTEL?
A. To get your party to and from our dock, call ASL Limo. 603.630.8229, or Bah Hoppah Shuttle Service at 603.406.4353.
Q. DO YOU PROVIDE FOOD AND DRINK?
A. We do not provide any food or drink, however, you may bring your own. We do have a large cooler on board, and you can easily purchase your beer and wine at the store on the pier. That way all you have to do is carry it a few feet to the tiki boat! We will have ice in the cooler waiting for you!
Q. CAN I PLAY MY OWN MUSIC ONBOARD?
A. Yes, we do have bluetooth-capable stereo systems that can sync to your phone and choice of music. Please be sure your phone is charged.
Q. WHO IS MY CAPTAIN?
A. Our Captains have been vetted, trained and strategically chosen based on their experience with boating and knowledge of the Lake. Our Captains hold a commercial license as required.
Q. SHOULD I TIP MY CAPTAIN?
A. Our Captains do work for tips, so gratuity is appreciated.
Q. ARE THERE AVAILABLE LIFE JACKETS ON BOARD?
